Privacy
FeelBite is private by default. Your journal entries never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.
FeelBite is built around a simple promise: your journal lives on your device.
We do not run a server for FeelBite. There is no account, no login, no cloud sync. Your emotions, food categories, items, and notes never leave your iPhone unless you choose to export them.
What we collect
Nothing. FeelBite has no analytics SDK. It does not phone home. The app cannot tell us what you logged, when you opened it, or whether you use it at all.
What stays on your device
Every entry — your timestamp, the emotion you picked, the food category, the optional item, your note — is stored locally on your iPhone, encrypted by iOS at rest.
App Lock
If you enable App Lock, the app uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. The toggle is held in the iOS Keychain, scoped to FeelBite. We never see this value.
Notifications
If you enable Reminders or Proactive check-ins, FeelBite schedules local notifications via iOS. The text is generic — never your journal content.
Export
If you tap Export in Settings, FeelBite writes a CSV or JSON file and opens the iOS share sheet so you can choose where it goes. We never receive it.
Delete All Data
Tap Delete All Data in Settings to wipe the local store, Keychain flags, scheduled notifications, and on-disk database files. After this runs, no FeelBite data remains on the device.
Children
FeelBite is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone — children or adults — because we do not collect data at all.
Changes to this policy
If FeelBite ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the change will be announced in the app's release notes.
